When Galaxy contracts an ancient illness, she and Phoenix must set off on a journey of healing to save Galaxy’s life. It is a journey that will challenge the strength of their bond and introduce them to new friends, both human and dragon. Along the way, Phoenix must face her own need for healing from the betrayal of her father and Forrest, and Galaxy will discover more about herself than she could have imagined on a distant, frozen island.
Meanwhile, on a quest to locate and destroy the Dragon Queen and her eggs, Dragon Trapper Commander Alexandria finds a protégé in Storm, a dragon weapons designer and dealer. Storm’s distrust of humans will also be challenged when her life is saved due to another’s sacrifice. And when the head of the Dragon Trapper’s Union, a mind-controlling menace, exercises control over both Storm and Phoenix, will either of them be able to find the healing and family they have been missing?
